and a little bit of that.
first order of business...parker had a better night last night. i decided to give him a bottle when he woke at 3am and that seemed to work better because i was able to make sure he drank it ALL and then knew he wouldn't need to eat again until 7:30 or so. He slept pretty soundly until about 7. I think he would've done even better but he seems to be a bit congested. :( I'm hoping he's not coming down with a cold already. He was 6 weeks old on Saturday. Here are a couple new pictures.
these are all actually from a couple weeks ago but I hadn't shared yet.
in other cool news i was browsing my favorite blogs and a daily favorite for me is the fabulously talented Maile. I always look forward to hitting her blog because not only am i usually bombarded with the most beautiful images from her photography...but she's darn witty and clever too. i so enjoy reading her blogs. i always get a laugh and she makes me feel ok about being a 30 something mom of 3, desperately clinging to her own identity yet embracing motherhood with grace. she's way cool. :) (btw-that big ole' honkin' pregnant belly on her homepage is none other than yours truly...just 2 days before Parker was born!) She did an amazing job with my pregnancy photos and i'll be sharing some her in the coming days.
now...onto Sports! so much going on in the world of sports. most of which i couldn't be happier about....
like this and this and especially this. love the playoffs and even better when my teams win....or rather when the mavs and the heat lose. yeehaw.
but i'm a bit saddened that one of my fave little college hotties got the shaft in the draft....poor little Brady. He's such a doll. Seriously, I will be the firs to admit that I don't follow college football all that much....however, I am a woman and when hot guys flash before my eyes on the evening news...well, I take note. Admittedly, Brady Quinn and JaMarcas Russel are really the only 2 college players I know. I just couldn't help but feel a little sad as I watched the draft unfold on saturday. oh well, he ended up with the browns.....and he'll look just as hot in that uniform as he did in his Notre Dame one. :)
already this post has taken me over 2 hours to write....a couple interruptions from hudson, a feeding for parker...directing the random drywall guy and tile fixer dude who are working on repairs in the house today....so it will be yet another post before i get to share some of the cool new links i've stumbled upon these days.
