here at the casa de furse we have our first sounds of laughter! it's a somewhat refrained muffled sound like he's just testing the waters of happiness. :) but it's joyful and it makes me giddy. our little guy is also able sit up for a bit if we have some pillows propped around him. he doesn't topple over immediately and he loves it! he is also reaching for things and holding onto them and trying to get them into his mouth which he hasn't quite mastered yet. he also has discovered his feet! he grabs onto those and smiles this smile that could melt hitler's heart. :) notice how well he's sitting up here....(with a little help from grandma) :) he's brilliant already! :) so that is what's happening in the land of parker. sooo, remember the wedding we went to at the beginning of the month. yes, i'm just now able to post pictures from it. remember i left my camera cable at the hotel? well, i got it. i loaded all my photos onto the laptop, began to edit them, and yea, the freakin' laptop hit the skids AGAIN! i swear, i'm so sick of this thing. i need a new one...and yes, need is the operative word here because no longer is it an unjustified WANT...no, i need something that is going to be semi-reliable. however, i still haven't been able to completely convince mark of that. regardless, i took the stupid thing in and the computer guru dude fixed it and i hope it holds up for at least a little longer. so now that i have it back, i can post the pictures from the wedding. :) here's a cute one of the three siblings. mark is the oldest of the 3...um, obviously. justin is the middle, kat's the youngest. isn't kat's dress wicked cute? loved it.
and here's the beautiful bride. she's a doll no? eva is the newest addition to the furse clan. she was glowing and radiant ....made me sick as i stood next to her w/ my new mom bags under my eyes and pasty white skin because i don't even have the time to get a tan out of a bottle.
sister's in law.....sisters. i'm pretty sure this was after kat had taken 3 shots at the bar w/ her brothers...and then got all emotional and cried...seriously, what's a wedding without a drunk cry-er? and i like how we all color coordinate....let me not even begin to tell you about the ordeal with my dress it's janky zipper.
brooklyn as she walked down the aisle and wouldn't look at me. and do you see how long this child's bangs are? i swear to you this is not what they looked like at 2pm after her hair appt. she is growing her bangs out and they were brushed nicely over to the side and clipped...however, 4 hours and a couple games of tag later this was the result. oh, well, she's beautiful anyway.
this boy....he's got my heart. man. look at that smile? mama's boy for sure. these are just a few of my favorites. i got a ton of great shots and was so happy that we were able to be there. the kids are glad they won't have to be in any more weddings. they think the clothes are too itchy and you have to stand too long. typical. very typical. :)
